The town of Waslala, Nicaragua has a new AguaClara plant that began operation in May, 2022. This project was a partnership between Agua Para el Pueblo, WaterAid, the mayor's office of Waslala, and AguaClara Reach and is a culmination of over 5 years of effort. Now, the plant is operating and providing safe water on tap to over 1,000 families (2888 people) in Waslala.
